About Me

Problems are opportunities for growth, but choosing a therapist can be a difficult decision. I hope my website gives you some information about my background and approach to help in your search. Successful therapy relies on the right match between you and the therapist, so please feel free to contact me to see if we work well together.

I am a clinical psychologist who has over 25 years of experience helping children, adolescents, adults, couples and families lead more productive and fulfilling lives. My background includes training in psychodynamic psychotherapy, family and couples systems, cognitive behavioral therapy, and behavioral methods. We can explore a combination of approaches or choose the one that suits your situation best.

I believe everyone strives to adapt and thrive the best they can, but sometimes we need a little help. It might be a symptom, incident, or a long-standing difficulty that brings you to therapy. Together we can identify and develop strengths as we change thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and relationship patterns preventing you from reaching your goals. We can resolve problems, raise self-esteem, and develop coping skills to foster healthy relationships and create the life you want.

My Education:

  • Masters in Clinical Social Work
  • Masters and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology
  • Advanced training in child and adolescent psychotherapy
  • Post-doctoral coursework in couples and family therapy
  • Training at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital working with medically ill children

Telehealth and in-person sessions available.

My home office is conveniently located in Merion Station PA, right near the Merion train station and bus routes. I am easily accessible from the Main Line, Center City and the surrounding Philadelphia area.
I am an out-of-network provider with insurance companies and a Medicare provider. Patients may submit my statements to their insurance company for full or partial reimbursement if their plan allows.
